Went to start car after a 5 minute drive. Steering wheel locked, no sound, ignition not working. Had to have car towed. Bmw is saying it needs a new steering column, ignition switch, to the tune of $3300! The car is a 2004 bmw 525i. Sounds like this is a common problem.

Brakes became hard to press and stopping takes more effort on the brake pedal. Condition listed as recall 10v-446 by bmw .

My bmw drivers seat get so hot it feels like it's about to catch fire ( i don't have heated seats } sometimes in motion sometime after i shut ti off
