Car shut off in the middle of highway, stalling, i was almost hit from behind. Now it won't even start. Every issue is related to the fuel issue recall. But my because my VIN isn't included, i have to deal with this. You guys aren't perfect and missed adding my car to the recall.

Could not get gear shift out of park. We took apart casing, found the pink plastic broke. Looked at youtube to fix. Order part on amazon. The plastic piece is now made of metal!!

Car will turn off when driving out of nowhere and i have to restart the car all over again. It has happened several times one time as i was turning into a street another time as i was switching lanes. This last time i was at a stop light and the car did it again.
How to read this page
Every figure comes from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's public complaint database, which holds every safety-related defect complaint filed by owners since 1995. We refresh it monthly and count each complaint once per component it names. Data through September 6, 2026.
NHTSA only accepts safety-related complaints. Rattles, paint, infotainment bugs and other annoyances are under-reported here, so this page is a map of what fails in ways owners consider dangerous, not a full reliability score.
Counts are raw. Use the year-over-year shape and the component mix, not the absolute numbers. Where a component maps to parts we stock, the row links to that category filtered to the year you are viewing. Air bag and seat belt complaints link to the recall checker instead, because those repairs are almost always covered.
