Several times i've filled my gas tank i got a strong smell of gas before entering my vehicle. I had then made sure not to fill the tank up due to this leakage. I believe its very dangerous. The smell doesn't go away until i drive the car for several days.

Mercedes-benz 1999 c280. Crankshaft pulley fell apart while at a stop sign not far from home, was able to drive back home before complete breakdown. Smelled burning rubber, no fire. The car has only 25,284 miles. *ak

Vehicle check engine light keeps coming on with a p0015 code which indicates a camshaft problem. Numerous complaints found online regarding same year, make and model for this vehicle. It could cause the car to stall, not shift gears and other issues suddenly.
